Pectineus is positioned between the Iliopsoas and Adductor Longus muscles.

Origin

  • Upper front of the pubic bone

Insertion

  • Upper medial shaft of the femur, inferior to the lesser trochanter

Actions

  • Hip adduction
  • Hip flexion

Innervation

  • Femoral nerve
