Netball - Group Drills - Decision Making Square

Can't View YouTube? Download Flash Version.

Aim: To keep all corners of a square balanced by making the correct passing and movement decisions.

Organisation: 12 players (or a multiple of 4) placed equally on the 4 corners of a square. Use cones to mark this if necessary. A player on 1 corner starts with the ball, they pass to their left or right then run diagonally, or pass diagonally and run to their left or right.

This process repeats, ensuring that there are the same amount of players at each corner. If one corner runs out of players encourage the group to continue the drill by making the right decisions in order to restore a balanced square.

  • Move as soon as you have released the ball
