Passing
Basic Pass
Players work in pairs trying to keep possession and move the down from one side of the square to the opposite.
Tunnel Run - 1 Man
Passing drill - players work their way along a tunnel.
Tunnel Run - 2 Man
Similar to above but players work in pairs along the tunnel.
Switch Pass
The switch pass is often used to confuse the opposition and create more space for the ball carrier and the team. It is a great way to change the direction of the attack.
Switch Pass - Scrum off
This move is usualy perfromed off a Scrum. It involves the Scrum Half passing to the first man who will then perform a switch pass with his outside player.
Holding and Carrying the ball
Simple explanation of how the ball should be carried and held.
Switch Pass with Dummy
This involves convincing the oppenent with your movements that you are going to throw a switch pass. However, at the last minute this pass will not be used and instead you will dummy or fake it.
Single Loop Pass
The scrum half will pass to the first player who will perform a dummy switch. It involves the two players performing the drill to perfrom an "X" shaped run.
Miss Pass with Loop
This is the loop pass. It involves the first player running or "looping" around the player he just passed the ball to to recieve the ball again.
Passing - Offload from the floor
This is where the tackled player has the ball on the floor. The tackled player then releases the ball on the floor to the support player.
Offload from the floor progression
The supporting player must hold depth to avoid a forward pass and to recieve the ball at speed and with power.
Offload During Tackle
The player being tackled must stay on his feet for as long as possible and offload the ball to the support player before they go to ground.
Offload During Tackle 1v1 progression
This is a 1v1 drill where the player being tackled must offload to his support player in a 1v1 situation.
Offload Through Tackle
The ball carrier should carry the ball in two hands at all times to avoid dropping the ball and to avoid the ball being ripped and taken from his possesion. He should hit the tackle low and with the shoulders.
Offload Through Tackle 1v2 progression
This drill is a 1v2 game situation where the ball carrier breaks through the tackle and offloads to his support player.
Miss Pass - Behind
The player who will receive the ball needs to come from deep so that he can run onto the ball quickly.
Miss Pass - Infront
This move can be performed to confuse the oppisition if the move is carried out correctly. It is often known as a "miss pass" as it misses one player and travels to another missing the middle man.

Advanced - 3 on 2

Advanced 3 on 2 through the middle
Players work in pairs trying to keep possession and move the down from one side of the square to the opposite.
Advanced 3 on 2 wide

Tackling
Front on Tackle - knee tackle
Players will learn to perfrom a front tackle from one knee
Front on tackle - 1 knee tackle
Players will perfrom a front tackle, but from one knee.
Front on Tackle - Squat Position
The aim of this drill is to perfrom a front on tackle from the squat position.
Front Tackle from standing
This drill is used to teach players to perfrom a normal front on tackle from a game situation.
Front Tackle progression drill
This drill is a progression from the standing front on tackle and can be used to practice.
Side Tackle on knees
This drill aims to teach player a side on tackle from two knees
Side Tackle on one knee
This drill aims to teach players a side on tackle from just one knee
Side Tackle from squat position
This drill is a side on tackle from the squat position.
Side Tackle from standing
This drill is used to teach players how to perfrom a standing tacjle from the side. It involves game situations.
Kicking
Chip Kick
The drill aims to teach players how to perfrom an accurate chip kick
Torpedo kick
The players will be shown how to perform a torpedo kick with the correct technique.
Grubber Kick
This will teach the players how to perform a correct grubber kick.
Drop Kick
This is the drop kick. Players will learn how to perform this kick and where to use it in a game situation.
Place Kick
This drill aims to teach players to perform the place kick correctly.
Up and Under
Players will be shown how to perform an up and under kick correctly using the propper technique.
Aussie Rules Punt
This drill is used to teach players to perfrom an Aussie rules punt. It will teach the players the correct technique.
