Teaching Points
- Sit on the seat so that the back is flat against the back rest and the seat pad supports the whole of the thigh
- Position the roller on the front of your lower shin
- Straighten the knees to lift the roller up until your knees are almost straight
- Slowly return to the starting position
Variations & progressions
- Perform one leg at a time. This is especially useful following injury to prevent compensation with the stronger leg
