Outer Thigh Machine |
| |
|
Outer thigh machines vary from gym to gym. Some will be combined with the inner thigh machine, where you pull a level/adjustment to change the direction of resistance. Others will be independant and start with the legs together, resisting you from pushing out
Teaching points
- Position yourself in the machine, with the legs together, supported on the outside of the thigh
- Sit with the back against the back rest, ensuring there is a curve in the lumber spine
- Push outwards to separate the legs, as far as you are comfortable
- Slowly allow the legs to return to the centre
