Tricep Press

There are many variations of tricep machine.The following is a common example:

Teaching points

  • Stand with your legs either side of the seat pad

  • Place your palms on the outsides of the handles, facing in and grip the handle

  • Push the handles down so that you can sit on the seat and lean forwards so your stomach is resting on the front pad

  • Straighten your arms out whilst trying to push the handles towards the floor

  • Keep your elbows close to your body

  • Slowly let the handles rise up until your hands are below your armpits and repeat
