Wrist Extension


Teaching points

  • Sit on a bench or chair with the knees bent

  • Hold a dumbbell in one hand and rest the forearm on the same thigh with the palm facing down

  • Pull the wrist back so that the dumbbell moves towards the body

  • Slowly return to that starting position


Variations & progressions

  • Perform whilst kneeling with the forearm rested on a bench in front of you
