Tennis - Kick Serve

Explanation: The kick serve again has less pace than the flat serve, but like the slice serve it has spin to make it difficult to judge and return. This serve should increase accuracy, as it goes higher over the net and can make opponents lose their balance.

How: Again the base of the flat serve is used to make up the kick serve. The only differences being in the toss, upswing, and contact point. Using the clock face again the toss should go up at about 12 o'clock. As on a topspin ground stroke, players must brush up the back of the ball on contact to create the topspin. The ball should be taken at the highest point.
