Paarlauf

 

What you need: Any large area like a 400m track, a sports hall or around the perimitter of a football pitch.

How: Run in pairs the 1st athlete completes a 200m run “tagging" his/her partner, who completes the second 200m run. 

While this takes place the 1st athlete “jogs” across the centre of the track to meet his incoming partner. 

Continue in this manner for the pre-decided time or distance.  E.g. 1 Mile Paarlauf each athlete 4 x 200m or if preferred a timed Paarlauf can be performed, 10 minutes or even longer.
